Something Pertinent

It comes to my attention that gaming may very well be a modern way of giving people "goals" that they CAN actually reach, regardless of their circumstances. Whether this is a positive thing or not...a distraction from reality, or a necessary conduit to vent the frustration of not being able achieve their true desires...or else...is something I'm still considering.
But it seems from cursory inspection that gaming definitely grants a temporary relief from the frustration of not being able to reach for our stars. However, once the grand illusion has been busted open, I wonder what happens next?
