Considering the previous post:

It comes to my attention that gaming may very well be a modern way of giving people "goals" that they CAN actually reach, regardless of their circumstances. Whether this is a positive thing or not...a distraction from reality, or a necessary conduit to vent the frustration of not being able achieve their true desires...or else...is something I'm still considering.

But it seems from cursory inspection that gaming definitely grants a temporary relief from the frustration of not being able to reach for our stars. However, once the grand illusion has been busted open, I wonder what happens next?

What happens next for me is that I make a goal of building a deeper, more sustainable illusion.

Wise words that I support 100%. If I could write you a symphony to help solidify that illusion, I would. Maybe someday.

I wouldn't cry. :) I dunno if they're wise or what; 's just how it went down. Seems like as good an existential response as any, though.

This is all spurred mainly by my absolute disgust with what I've done musically in the past eight years. I wonder if the time was well spent or not.

By the way, any idea what the chances of popping a talent with a -30 luck amberite are? Heheheh...I totally did.

It's juuuust possible you might be over-critical. Not that being disgusted with one's past creative work is abnormal or anything.

I dunno, but apparently they're nonzero. :)
