I figured with the couple people that seemed to have really bad reactions to the whole LSD thing, I wanted to show you some scientific proof that it is quite a safe drug (though I understand the fact even risking small percentages is stupid in many people's eyes)
This is a direct quote from a research paper I did a year or so ago on it.
Some of the most common myths today on LSD are used by law enforcement or health teachers to scare their listeners into straight-edge. (go figure.) LSD does not form crystals in the body to be released later causing flashbacks. (It is a crystalline solid, but is easily water soluble, therefore cannot form bodily deposits.) LSD does not cause chromosome damage (In a review of 68 studies by Norman I. Dishotsky, William D. Loughman, Robert E. Mogar and Wendell R. Lipscomb). Yet another myth is that you must double your dosage of LSD each time you take it. This is true, in a sense, if you take LSD everyday. However, tolerance for LSD is acquired after the first dose, and is lost after three days without dosage.
In a study conducted by Sidney Cohen, it was found that in 5000 individuals who had taken LSD 25000 times, there was an average of 1.8 psychotic episodes per thousand ingestions, 1.2 attempted suicides, and 0.4 completed suicides. In a quote from Jay Stevensons' Storming Heaven, according to this data: 'Considering the enormous scope of psychic responses it induces,' he concluded 'LSD is an astonishingly safe drug.'
Basically, a 00.18% chance of having a psychotic episode, 00.12% chance of attempting suicide, 00.04% chance of completing suicide.
All of those solved if you have a sitter, for the record.
Just some food for thought.
