Okay, first of all, the idea of random drug testing in schools is total insanity.

It's like the government can't give it up! They keep pushing all of their opinions down everyone's throat...I just can't take it anymore.

Someone needs to do something about all of this invasion of privacy. Maybe they can do it to legal adults, but to minors...that's just insane. That should be way out of their power.

What has happened to freedom anyway.

It's all gone in the name of our opinion is better than yours.

we're too stupid to know what is good for us.

We'll see how stupid big brother thinks I am when I start a revolt someday.

I totally agree with you, but why would you say it's more okay to do it to adults than teens? I mean, if anything, you'd do it to the people who don't yet have the legal status that should grant them freedom to do whatever they want. Of course, this argument doesn't change the fact that that's total bullshit anyway. Is that seriously going to be part of the US school system now?

I know bush wanted it in his State of the Union address, and I read a thing in the paper today that our state rep. is thumbs up on it.

It makes no difference to me I guess, since I'm out of highschool technically and i'll be in college probably by the time it goes into affect, but I don't really want kids in the next generations not to be able to have a life similar to mine, with choices, and mind expansion, and all of that.

Keep in mind; as minors you don't have a choice when it comes to random drug testing in schools. In short, no point in bitching because if you can't vote, you can't do anything about it anyway.

Besides, you'll face drug testing a lot, no matter where you go. It's more or less a self-serving industry, as nearly all businesses require one for you to be employed with them. Labs make a pretty penny looking at pee to see if it's got traces of weed or coke in it, somewhere around $7k per drug test. They make billions a year. Fun stuff.

Yeah, I can't vote when i know more about the presidential race than most adults -rofl-

It's too funny, the way they stereotype and categorize in life. The way they can say what's bad and what's not when even science can prove otherwise. My life seems so futile when I can't control how they control me.
