Conscious Theory
Nov. 6th, 2003 08:38 pm(This was a recently finished 'project' of mine. It may be rather simple, but the main reason i wrote it is to define the fourth conscious, because the first three are obvious.)
After pondering for a time, I have concluded that there are three consciousnesses to the human being's mind. For lack of a better terminology, I name them these, with an analogy to help explain better.
Sub conscious - The Hard Drive of your mind
The sub conscious knows all and everything that is you. It is you in a purer form than your external self. It remembers everything that has ever occurred, and only some parts can be accessed through the
Conscious - The Document History
Like the Document History in a Windows Operating System, the Conscious contains much of what has been recent in the events in your life. The more impact a situation had, the longer it stays in the Conscious mind. However, it is always changing. New thoughts replace old ones, just as new files replace the old in the history, and sometimes old thoughts resurface again.
Base conscious - The File Windows
These are your surface thoughts, the very thing you are hearing in your mind as you read this now. The more surface thoughts you have at once, the harder it is to volley them all at once just as multitasking gets more difficult the more windows you have open.
Also, there is another probable conscious:
High conscious - The Internet of your mind
This last conscious is the most intriguing of them all. It would seem, with as many people that now practice mysticism (Astral projection, Chakra exercise, Meditation, etc.) as witnesses that there is a higher self that exists. This self is most likely your very soul - which is one with the all - Buddha, The Goddess, etc. - and therefore can peer into the future and past and upon planes that exist out side of the physical self and mind. It is like this that it is an Internet - a connection to something beyond the self, and at the same time the connection to one's self is still there, un-severed. This conscious helps explain the idea of quantum theory in the human sense as well. We are both part of everything and ourselves at once.
And on a less serious note (Stolen from Mahasuriaria...you cute thing)
How to play:
Leave a comment answering the questions.
Post the questions in your journal asking others to answer them, for you.
(Not that I actually think any of you will take this, heh)
1. Give me a nickname and explain why you picked it.
2. Am I loveable?
3. How long have you known me?
4. When and how did we first meet?
5. What was your first impression?
6. Do you still think that way about me now?
7. If I was an ice cream flavor, which would I be and why?
8. Do you think I'll get married?
9. What makes me happy?
10. What makes me sad?
11. What song (if any) reminds you of me?
12. If you could give me anything what would it be?
13. Do you consider me a good friend?
14. When's the last time you saw me?
15. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn't?
16. Would you make a move on me?
17. Describe me in one word.
18. Do you think our friendship is getting stronger/weaker/or staying the same?
19. Do you feel that you could talk to me about anything and I would listen?
20. Do I cross your mind at least 2 times a day?

Because you're always pondering stuff both about the world we see, and the world we don't see.
2. Am I loveable?
Very much so.
3. How long have you known me?
Well.. it's been almost 2 years now hasn't it?
4. When and how did we first meet?
On the mud..
5. What was your first impression?
I can't remember :/
6. Do you still think that way about me now?
That's an impossibility.
7. If I was an ice cream flavor, which would I be and why?
Rocky road? Maybe chocolate. Perhaps strawberry.
8. Do you think I'll get married?
Yes.
9. What makes me happy?
People you connect with, and thinking about stuff. Music and writing poetry as of late perhaps.
10. What makes me sad?
People who betray you and lie to you.
11. What song (if any) reminds you of me?
Autechre - Vletrmx21
12. If you could give me anything what would it be?
Hmm tough one.. beautifulface.jpg Sorry :(
13. Do you consider me a good friend?
Yes. I should come on MSN more often, but I'm often busy with 100 other things.
14. When's the last time you saw me?
A week or so.
15. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn't?
I guess I'm pretty blunt, so no.
16. Would you make a move on me?
You know it babe.
17. Describe me in one word.
Almost impossible. But I'd have to go with 'thoughtful'.
18. Do you think our friendship is getting stronger/weaker/or staying the same?
Even though we may not speak directly so often, I feel we know each better day by day through our journals.
19. Do you feel that you could talk to me about anything and I would listen?
Yes. That's what I like about you, you never reject people for being different.
20. Do I cross your mind at least 2 times a day?
I check your journal everyday, so at least once a day.
