Oct. 4th, 2003 09:01 pmSo i've made a decision that is definitely making this into a turning point in my life.
It has special importance...maybe most people wouldn't think deciding that i'd rather school at home would, but it does...
Not only will cyber schooling give me a lot of chances i wouldn't get in public school, as i'll talk about in a bit, it changes my lifestyle. After all of this socialization, this period of outgoingness, i feel myself pulling inward, and maybe because it's time for me to contemplate in a more isolated climate again.
Youngsville went well. It really did. After all of that fear and nervousness created by it, I had a good time there. But after seeing that people can react to me like that, I know that i'll be okay later on in life too.
After xing out that one bad thing about schooling on the net, there's nothing left really. I have three less classes this year due to credit requirements in the cyber school than i had in public. Next year, and possibly next semester, I can take college courses in highschool for free, earning both highschool and college credit. Far more worth it than youngsville. And it means i can start early with philosophy classes. Yay.
Not to mention i get to take a highschool class there that supposedly resembles low-level college logic courses. Very good.
I'm pretty much garunteed in. They liked me very much there, i could tell, and i got along with them very well. They all seemed very liberal and left-winged.
I find out tuesday, and even they said it was pretty overwhelming in the direction of admission. I can't wait.
