The Law of Green Land
May. 25th, 2015 02:01 amAgainst my better judgment, I drank some vodka tonight - and I'm leaving this post solely with the end to an otherwise complicated dream I had last night.
I'm being taken on foot by, presumably, two authority figures, to what I can only imagine is a criminal sentence hearing. As we near the courthouse, the doorway opens, and out comes the antagonist of the dream. He shouts loudly, "This is the Law of the Green Land." There's a gunshot, and I immediately recognize, in that dream fashion, that I've been shot. I feel frozen mostly - there's no pain or discomfort. But my mind and my thoughts and my perception are frozen in time, in that moment.
This new keyboard is going to take some serious getting used to. It's much more accurate than a standard membrane keyboard, but because it has five macro keys on the left hand side, and I'm used to laying my left hand pinky on the outside of the keyboard as a sort of "home" state, I'm still not quite on board. It'll be a good change-up I reckon, it's just annoying to not be able to type at 150wpm+ without mistakes. I like being able to keep up with my brain.
