You are experiencing verbal abuse, sexual harassment, or are aware of any type of other illegal behavior. If you’re the victim of bullying, sexual harassment or other egregious behavior, you should certainly keep an eye out for other positions, regardless of what corrective measures you’re taking, Taylor says.

Well then, I guess that solves that issue. I kind of knew all along this sort of thing was unacceptable - especially when there are instances of it being committed by management. I've been writing pro/cons for about a half hour. I have one pro - you guessed - financial.

I think this doesn't even matter. I've got enough savings where if I was hung out to dry for years I'd be okay in this area. I'm certainly not stupid. It'll all be fine.

I'll stick around long enough, or at least try to...to get my wisdom teeth taken care of (mid-February) and go to at least one PT session for my left knee. The brace helps it considerably, and while deadlifts and squats seem to be a no-no still even with the brace, I think eventually it will realign itself. The sports medicine doctor didn't seem too concerned about it, so I don't see why I should be.

That clears up about everything. I guess if I can stand working up to and through shutdown, there's that - it'll make me about another $10,000 from now until then, I think. That'll cover me for the rest of this year, if not more. Meanwhile I need to truly focus on the path to take after this.

It's hard making this decision.

Sounds like you're being very rational about the decision process, though. Yay, go for it; it's your life!
