 I've got about seven days left of my oral meds and admittedly the infection has gone down quite a bit, but one of the much smaller sites went cystic again and I'm just getting so depressed over all of this. If it isn't gone by the time my meds are done and the topical stuff won't finish it off I'm going to be stuck paying ridiculous prices at a specialist. Great.

I'm so sick of this shit. I just want to be healthy and normalized again so I can finally get on with my life.

That really sucks. Have you googled to see if there's any natural therapy you can do for it?

i looked up a lot of stuff about it when I first found out I had it. But there wasn't really any helpful info. I don't know exactly what it is other than a "general skin fungus" and i don't know how I got it. I suppose this is why the doc said if it isn't taken care of after this I need to see a specialist.

I just hope I'm not immuno-compromised. I know ketaconazole is most often used in patients that are. I've never been tested. The doctor didn't seem worried about that but sigh, just want this gone forever.
