A little bit of minor research...
I can still pursue whatever the hell I want in college as long as I take some core reqs for med school, keep my GPA high and do well on the MCATs. According to some of the info I came across science degrees can actually -be looked down on- in some cases. They want to see you stick with something you love for four years.
Maybe I'll stick with philosophy. But I'll still need to pick up friggin calculus and applied physics. Sigh. Inevitable at any real college, but I'm still worlds behind in math since at my CC it was not a req for liberal arts. Even my philo professors said they shied away from maths and formal logic. So lame!
