The infection on my scalp came back yesterday. I noticed a little bit of soreness and put my fingers back to feel in the region and it was slightly raised, meaning it was filled with the liquid again. I put some of the topical stuff I have left on it and they drained out immediately over night. But I don't know if I have enough left to get rid of it entirely.

I can't afford another doctor's visit. I was supposed to go back for another check up after my oral medication was gone but my mother insisted that I didn't because it "looked gone to her" and it's too expensive. It's not just the doctor's visit, it's the medication too.

I am so sick of dealing with shit like this. So sick of it. Everything is so fucking expensive and even if I had a job, I'd be blowing a weeks pay on the doctor's visit and meds.

The hair is growing back really well but if the infection comes back that will be meaningless. The hair still hasn't grown back at the infection site that redeveloped. I'm so sick of this.

God, I feel so ugly and worthless right now.

Oh that sucks. It can be so demoralising to have ongoing health issues that effect your appearance. Been there. Done that.

It's an absolute sham that you can't get free medical assistance in your country.

The real problem is that there are too many people who live comfortably for those who don't to change anything...

Those people think the reason the "have nots" don't have is because they don't do enough, don't work hard enough, aren't smart enough...I know better with regards to myself, but look what I have? I tossed lumber for $8/hour, I don't know too many people who could even -handle- a day of tossing lumber, they'd pass out or quit outright after the first hour or two...especially on a day when it was -10F inside the building.

In my sociology class in college, the professor talked about the Horatio Alger Myth, and I wrote a four page paper on -why- it's a -myth- - because in a capitalist society, it doesn't matter who you are or what you do, there are -only so many positions that pay well-

Not everyone can earn enough to live comfortably. That's simply a fact of the system. That's the problem no one seems to want to talk about.

I was going to try and get a scholarship by reading one of her books and writing some ridiculous essay on it, two-three years or so ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

I never did...kinda glad now that I see what her philosophy consists of. A complete violation of any real philosophical code of ethics. How many people really believe that their ego is the only thing of worth whatsoever?

It's exactly that sort of attitude that pursues a great deal of the suffering in the world...she sounds like a bourgeois in the guise of an intellectual...a real moron.
