Maybe it's time to join the military? Start from Greek philosophy, the presumption of financial stability is necessary to be a philosopher...and even Plato makes the assertion every philosopher must have been a soldier, with good reason imho. Maybe it's time to accept I have no value to society other than as a hired gun. Musical passion is selfish, so too is philosophical passion...I can't work do mind numbing labor any more...there has to be a more meaningful significance to my activity.
I honestly have nothing else going for me. I don't desire to work in this shit anymore. Not that the military will be much different...but at least the pay will be decent.
It's such a hard thing for me to think about. But I don't know what else to do. If I wait too long, I won't be able to get through the vigorous physical aspects as easily. Four more years of college and I'll be 27-28. 30 for a masters roughly. 32 for a PhD if I'm lucky. 35 is max for entry into the military. 35 is far too late.
