Targetted ads are getting a bit creepy. This one was a coding ad for security training and it had a guy "validating" (as they said in the ad) some login function to fix a problem that was really obvious. Heh, some training lol... look, we'll teach you how to avoid a buffer overflow by not being a dumbass!..

My neighbor just told me a fucked up story about how his relationships used to go. Apparently he was quite happy with his women and they happy with him, and then he'd just break it off at a high point and walk away. But now he's with a girl who makes him miserable, but he just wants to make it work. Funny, he's so trapped by his own insecurity. I guess a lot of people are. Sad. I am almost the same way - well I'm insecure anyway - but it's different because there's so much I value in Julia, she doesn't need to be happy to make me pleased with my choice. And being pleased with my choice is most of what makes me want to stay. I donno, it's complicated o.O
