And I've secured my addresses at purevolume.com and vampirefreaks.com finally. There's a few other networking sites, but I think between myspace and those two, I should be hitting a good portion of the listener demographic - purevolume for music enthusiasts, vampirefreaks for those weird people who dress in all black and hate myspace, and myspace for, you know, the people who are -lazy- like me. But by the looks of it, a good deal of the social networking sites are dying off. Facebook is probably the most popular at the moment, but it's definitely not built for musicians. Vampirefreaks has only 4,000 members online at the moment, which is a far cry from what I remember a few years ago. Then again, myspace is probably still king - and it's /still the best way to get new listeners/. All that's required is some time and patience.
