It's funny because it's true...it's all just this hardwired, chemical response. I've never considered myself much of an empiricist but it makes perfect sense when thought about in this regard. Why "cheating"? Because it's an addiction that can cause you to make moral and ethical decisions you wouldn't when you are in a sober state. You know, not hopped up on fucking dopamine. But if you aren't hopped up on dopamine in your current relationship, chances are eventually you're going to find someone else who gets you hopped up on it.
