It's like.

It's like being back at the mill.

I went to sleep at 9:00pm and woke up at 4:00am, roughly the same time I used to wake up.

Daylight shift really wasn't daylight for a few hours.

I hate to say it but I miss it. It wasn't a complicated job that required a lot of thought or mental energy. I miss the piling, anyway...it, at least, was relatively safe too (if I had weighed 20lbs more, I never would have injured myself.) The pay just sucked so badly I can't really justify going back, even though I don't even have a job right now.

I think it made me feel like a bit more of a man. It's a question I often ask myself, whether or not I'll ever -feel- like I am one, or whether or not I even -want- too.

Well, it's time to munch on this marijuana brownie and see what happens. I've never eaten thc before. I was warned that eating the whole piece I was given will make me freak out, so I better take it easy. I don't really have tolerance for it anymore.

Maybe if it's a good high, I'll have something trippy to write (musically or here) later.

I'd prefer some mushrooms or LSD, but meh. Been four years since I had either.

According to Amazon.com, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy has 224 pages.

I read something like two-three pages a minute, then. Not bad at all.

On to the Restaurant at the End of the Universe.

Well...

It wasn't really worth it. Maybe if I had a larger brownie. It ended up just making me sleepy after about six hours.

In the past twenty-four hours I've had something like three cigarettes. Not bad.

I've got a TAW meet tonight at 9. Kinda interested to see what it's like playing against all skilled players. Then again...maybe it will just be really frustrating ;)

Besides that, sitting in another creative slump and wondering what the future holds.

Hmm...

Not sure what I think of this Stupak amendment business.

The idea that abortions were ever covered by health insurance is somewhat sickening - because it's not just the money -you- pay in that is used to fund various types of medical interventions...it is the money that -all- of the insured pay in.

I don't think that's really fair to insured pro-lifers.

I won't be petitioning to stop an amendment unless it tries to take away abortion rights entirely. If you have to foot the bill yourself, that seems entirely acceptable to me, considering it is you and your partner's burden to carry...not society's.

The TAW practice went pretty well. I impressed some of the higher ranking clan members with my sniping, which means I have a talent for it.

I admit, I actually learned a lot about sniping by watching the history channel special that was on not too long ago. The tactics work in any game with any level of realism. Ambushing is best - but I think even in modern warfare, with long shots, the sniper rifles are basically instantaneous...I don't think wind speed or distance really causes any kind of fade left, right or down.

Although I'm in TAW for ETQW, not Modern Warfare. Not really sure my comp could handle 2, but I won't know until I try it out.
