Oct. 12th, 2009 07:27 pmSmashed my pipe with a hammer today.
Bought those BLU electronic cigarettes. I should be able to quit with them within 3 cartons ($60 approx.) Bought light cartridges first, then I'll buy ultra light, then I'll buy non-nicotine.
That's the plan, anyway.
At the least, if I smoke those, no cancer causing agents!
Makes me want to buy a vaporizer for the other stuff (although that's once I get a job, eh?)
Will probably go apply for telephone representative at Blair at the end of the week. This will help me get over phone phobia and be a first step in the right direction. Having to deal with people constantly will be a big help for me, I think.
I kinda wonder if I'd be able to smoke the BLU smokes while at work. It's something I'd like to discuss, definitely. There's no second hand smoke, and the vapor once exhaled has nothing in it. Would be fucking sweet if you can.

Date: 2009-10-16 06:54 am (UTC)The electronic smokes supposedly make it very easy. For me, it's the act of smoking (I think) that is so addictive. I actually chewed tobacco for a short time when I was working at the lumber mill, and it never made me crave a smoke less (even though at times I would get dizzy and lightheaded from too much nicotine...that stuff is potent)
The best time to quit is when you are in a low stress situation. Right now, I'm pretty high stress, and without a job, I have too much free time where I can light up :(
