I was talking to "uncle jerry" (although he's not related by blood) and he talked to me about a system of strikes he has for dating. It actually makes a lot of sense. You can't keep pining after people if they keep fucking you over, one way or another, turning you down, or what have you.

Well, I'm going to apply it here with this girl specifically. Last night she went back to being distant and non-talkative, avoiding, and generally being self-centered. While I understand she's wounded, this isn't stopping her from looking to other people to have fun with - it seems that I'm being snubbed.

So what I'm going to do is start with Strike One the next time she turns me down.

If she gets to strike three, I'm going to ask her how she went from being the bubbly, happy, smiling and talkative girl she was with me for ten hours straight (and hugging me of course) to a girl that's giving me all the signs that she's not interested one bit, in even friendship.

Pretty simple. She said she wanted something to do tonight after work, so I threw my card in there. If she doesn't respond, that's strike one. And we'll go from there.

Not really.

I'm getting sick and tired of mixed signals from women.

I'm not playing the attention whore game again. Been there, done that. There has to be reciprocation or it's a massive waste of my time and a burden on my emotional health

so you feel like you're putting out more energy than you're receiving? paying more attention to her than she's paying to you?
