So, basically, the job I have is rather simple, I realize this.

However, I realized something about it.

The reality is, to be the sole person granted the duty and responsibility to work around tens of millions of dollars worth of machinery and product without supervision, and be expect to do the job as well, is a rather high honor in my mind.

And lets not forget, the above speech will probably work very well on future employers.

It is also a rather dangerous job while the machinery is still running (and it will be, for roughly three hours of an eight hour night)

In addition.

You probably won't believe this.

I've realize just how useful the sounds at the mill, especially up at the green end, could be used artistically.

Expect something very interesting posted at some point. Near the pre-dryers, as you walk towards them, there's a loud, bassy, oscillating, vibrational sound that grows stronger and stronger. It's very epic, perfect for drawing a listener into a mood.

Not to mention...everything else.

This is what will be in the future called "real industrial" music. The kind of music that is spawned from forced slavery to the machines of our masters, an attempt to break free from the chains that hold us to them.

Yes, I must admit.

It is funny.

I think what's really interesting is that I don't know that many people who've actually worked in, for and around real industrial complexes. It really opens your perspective to a much larger, more frightening world.

Some of the guys I know at the mill...have worked there for their entire lives.
