Intent is more important than results.
People are more important than property.

Destruction is better than complaint.
Unity is better than dissension.
Individuality is better than conformity.
Responsibility is better than blame.
Remorse is better than guilt.
Sensuality is better than ascetiscism.
Love is better than hate.
Caution is better than fear.
Courage is better than foolhardiness.
Knowledge is better than ignorance.
Self-knowledge is better than pride.
Wisdom is better than knowledge.
Honesty is better than deceit.
Honor is better than arrogance.
Peace is better than war.
Joy is better than sorrow.
Generosity is better than thrift.
Mercy is better than justice.
Loyalty is better than slavery.
Trust is better than cynicism.
Skepticism is better than gullibility.
Good works are better than good promises.

Those are the ethics of the Hasidic Druids, as written by Isaac Bonewits in the Great Druidish Book. I follow it pretty closely in all honesty...and it seems I always have naturally.
