Not so. The main beneficiaries of Social Security - the ones it was originally intended to benefit - are people who did not work for pay, nor pay in to the system: traditional wives. Let me tell you, there are plenty of rich widows who never worked a day in their lives, who receive a quarter-century or more of Social Security payments because they married someone with a high-paying job.
