A 2007 meta-analysis estimated that cannabis use is statistically associated with a dose-dependent increase in risk of development of psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia, though the authors admit that some uncertainty about causality still remains.[84] For example, cannabis use has increased dramatically in several countries over the past few decades, though contrary to predictions the rates of psychosis and schizophrenia have generally not increased.[85][86][87]

I.E.: Our meta-analysis appears to have no grounds to make the claim OR we fudged our numbers to support the drug warriors, and now there appears to be contrary evidence, although we won't outright SAY that.
