I decided I'd throw this up for people to download if they so desire. Besides the one person who still comments, I'm not sure anyone else still reads this journal - but if they do, this will be shared for awhile to make sure they get it if they want it.

"Thank You" is probably my favorite, to be honest. It's totally different than anything else I've ever done, and it's very much a tribute to Ray Manzarek (may God rest his soul.) It was originally called "Tavern" but it simply doesn't fit with the rest of the work, and it's really just an ending track for an eclectic collection of works from the past five years.

The download is about 70mb, the album runs about 40 minutes. It's primarily beat-driven electronic music, with a heavy ambient feel. "Catastrophic Failure" is a short intermission track that I wished I had expanded on when I wrote it - it would be fairly difficult for me to get the original project file and rework it now, though, so it will stay as is. Maybe someday I'll try to rework it from the ground up.

Oh, and if you don't want to download it, I'll leave it up permanently here:

I've been adding and deleting tracks for years on soundcloud, but this album can just stick around - I'm done being overly critical of things I put so much effort into. They aren't perfect, they never will be, and I never will be. I don't think I'll ever be as good as the artists I'm always so enthralled by. But that's just the way it is. Maybe I'll throw it up on youtube and sell it on bandcamp too - mostly a futile exercise, but even if a handful of people get a hold of it, it has a better chance of sticking around for the future.
