I can find no other explanation - it seems that many people, while putting forth a happy exterior, are inherently miserable inside...and when these miserable people recognize a person who has genuine happiness from within, they seek to produce that same miserableness in the other person.
Is it so hard to understand that each person's happiness may come at a different price, and by virtue of different actions?
