What set me apart?
Mar. 13th, 2011 10:56 pmIt's simple, this one...no matter who I'm talking to or where I go, people think I'm intelligent. Immediately it sets me apart. And that's all there is to it.
There is no other skill that I have in particular...especially no mastery...that sets me apart. I simply have what you might consider an unmatched charisma, the height of a nigh-giant, and the tongue of a snake-oil salesman. Probably the perfect combination for a philosopher.
Not such a bad one for a refinery that has a very powerful "in crowd" amongst the union members, I might add.
If this job works out, I won't have to worry about money until I decide to leave its confines for something else, somewhere else. And that is -such- a relief.
