Just a small philosophical tidbit for the readers:

In Buddhism we find that all suffering stems from ignorance.

What is suffering? Suffering, as it is in this context, is just about everything. There are varying degrees of suffering. We may hunger little, or hunger greatly. That is suffering. We may thirst, or we may lust - this is also suffering. The solution to scripted human beings is to do what they were programmed to do - in the case of hunger, eat. In the case of thirst, drink. In the case of lust, masturbate or have sex. If a person is unhappy in a situation, as a scripted human being, as a programmed, conditioned individual, they will do what they can to alleviate the situation, to change it because they desire happiness.

But this is the big deal here. Unhappiness stems from one's own being. It does not stem from others. We may experience the actions of others and in response we may become unhappy, but this unhappiness is purely REACTIONARY in form - the acting person has no control over how we react to their actions; WE have control over how WE act in RESPONSE. Pointing fingers and blaming another for our own condition is childish and ignorant - it represents immaturity and a lack of overall understanding of how the world functions. We're all human. Welcome to Grand Illusion, children.

In addition to this, I feel that there is another side as well. When we are happy, and we thank those around us for that, we offer UNTO THEM WITHOUT CONSIDERATION power over OUR life and OUR condition.

No one has any control over our condition but our own self. To believe anything else is purely ignorant, and will sooner or later lead the individual back into a pit of suffering.

I have to say, this feels like a piece of the enlightenment puzzle to me.
