Reality Shifter
A character with reality shifter must have, for one reason or another in his or her life, distanced themselves from reality. This can happen in any number of ways - drug use, philosophical insight, sheer intelligence and wisdom, just plain luck, etc. Some Reality Shifters are born this way. Reality Shifters have a number of special powers available to them. Reality shifter is looked upon as a curse by some, a boon by others.
Level 1: Trance: This power can activate at any time of the day. Roll 1d4 upon waking up, this is the maximum amount of times during the waking period the character can trance. Roll a d6, if it's over the character's Reality Shifter level*2, the character trances for d4+wis mod rounds. During this trance, the Reality Shifter gains 1 PSPs and SPs back per 2 rounds, attuning himself to the universe. This can only happen in situations where there is no apparent danger to the character. During the trance he has a +4 to his willpower saves, and gains a 15 SR. +10 PSPs
Level 2: Limited Precognition: Character gains the psionic talent Limited Precognition. (Future Sight) +10PSPs
Level 3: Limited Telepathy: Character gains Limited Telepathy. (Can listen in on other's thoughts) +10PSPs
Level 4: Limited Biofeedback: Character gains Limited Biofeedback. (Regens cuts and bruises slowly)
Level 5: Opening the Crown Chakra: Enlightenment. +1 Wisdom, Character can trance at will, for up to RS level*4 minutes, as many times as his RS levels per day.
Level ?: Opening the Heart Chakra: Astral Projection.
Level ?: Kundalini: Enlightenment: Gives you a +5 bonus up to a max of 21 wisdom.+
Special Abilities:
Foresight (Natural Talent): Character has a 10% chance to see the future everytime he trances.
Know Alignment (Natural Talent): Character can look another sentient being in the eyes and 'feel' his or her alignment.
Divine Favor (Gained from the Potion of True Faith): Character acts as though permanently under the luck spell. Also recieves a +4 to fort, +2 to reflex and willpower, and becomes 90% immune to diseases. +2 to wisdom.
Time Dilation (Limited, Psionically and Philosophically Developed):
Character applies knowledge of quantum mechanics of space/time and psionics, creating a field around himself, which affects the time ratio one way or another (slows down time, speeds up time).
Knowledge of the Void (Affect of Reality Shifter and Psylocybin Mushrooms): Character acknowledges the existence of 'the void' after coming into contact with it twice.
Partial Enlightenment (RS, Drugs, Philosophy, Druidism) - Character, for one reason or another, is partially enlightened. At times the character may be far more apathetic and laid back than normal, and at other times will tenaciously go about his or her business pertaining to something that feels very important in the characters mind/soul. The character has an exceptional wisdom, and often times knows what will happen before it does (+5% bonus to any precog checks, can make "Sense future" checks randomly, up to his wis modifer times per day, d20+wis mod+int mod, if he beats the DC (depends upon the difficulty of what he wants to see), he feels what will be, if he rolls a 1, or fails by 10 or more, he gets a wrong feeling of what will be).
Rage: When the character reaches an extreme level of primal emotion (fear/anger/less often, lust) he will go into a beserk rage unless he makes a willpower check at a DC ranging from 20-30 depending on the intensity of the situation. This rage adds +2 strength and +4 dex, and makes him immune to morale failure.
Equipment:
Pentacle Necklace (Pewter Holy Symbol): Allows the Character to cast all divine spells, also gives a +1 luck bonus.
Ring of Defense: Molds the future to bring less harm to the wearer while it is on.
