Well...i DM'd D&D last night. (I might as well fill everybody in on what happened, heh)
The group got hired by a group of elven high magi to go and assassinate the shadow lord (The shadow weave was expanding, and the shadow adepts were basically growing huge in their power) and also save my character, Grimlor the Dwarven Fighter/Cleric of Clangeddin. Anyway, we ended up getting stuck in a shadow maze, but luckily the players were smart and found there way out (not before my dwarf's axe got melted by acid, though.) We then confronted the shadow lord, who appeared in a huge, almost elder earth elemental form, only pure shadow. We all nearly died, but Inudain, the Assimyr Sorcerer managed to heal us up with his Staff of Life. Radger, the Wood Elf Fighter managed to get alot of powerful hits in with his Spear of Flaming and Frost, so we managed to take down the shadow lord in abour 13 rounds of combat (last about 15 minutes real time) So, most of the shadow adepts died when their lord was banished back to its home plane, and we went back victorious to the high magi. Elminster (Heh, yes, elminster. he was there to help with defending evereska from the shadow adepts) Decided to take us to shadow dale, to talk to the Lord of the Dale. We then took a year, and built a new city (named Mydin) on the southern outskirts of the dale. (this took about an hour of real time to complete, and get relations set up, the army, ect.) The group then decided to go on a journey to Mithril Hall, and left the city in the control of the other council members. On our way up, we encoutered a Mature Adult Green Dragon, and a band of 5 Fire Giants. (Luckily the encouters were seperate, as the group would have ended right there if not). We then reached mithril hall. There we met the king (Bruenor Battlehammer's grandfather, if i remember correctly) and trained to gain our levels (We had enough experience from the last encounters to do so.) Inudain decided to receive a Plane Talk spell...and started prank-calling Greater Gods (extremely funny, it was!) Making fun of the earth elemental god had to have been the most hilarious thing i have ever seen in Dungeons and Dragons games...But anyway...Then, he decided to try Ao (He's the ultimate god, some people doubt his existence. But i was having a ton of fun and decided to make him the way i always pictured him. Good natured, but misunderstood. heh.) Ao immediately summoned the group to his Plane, wondering what the hell the PC's were doing. So, they explained themselves, and Ao decided to release some of their godspawn abilities (This is something that i had been contemplating for the group for awhile, that they each were half-god) They gained enough exp to reach their next level and were allowed to raise a level in any class they wanted to (My character chose runecaster, rick chose sorcerer, and dylan chose fighter) Then, we asked him if he could take us to Mystra (goddess of magic) He did so, and Inudain found out that he was the son of mystra. Then Mystra released the rest of our god abilities. (My character gained an effective level in runecaster of 8, at +2 to all ability scores, Rick became a Chosen of Mystra, And Dylan gained some miscellaneous aiblities (no penalties for dual wield, his spear split in half (one flaming, one frost) and gained +10 AC and +5 constitution) The group is now level 13 i believe, each godspawn. One day this group will end up becoming an immortal force on the world of faerun hopefully (each character stopped aging) and it should be fun to continue it.
Wow...i guess we did do alot, heh. 5 hour Session...
Ermm...the girl i am going out with REALLY likes me...its almost frightening...she actually see's the really good qualities i have though, which means she's a bit smarter or more aware then most of these people (or is willing to show it). Atleast i can actually get out and do things now. I just hope i still get my alone time, because if i lose too much of it, my depression will only get worse. Well...i guess i'm sortof out of things to talk about. So, until i speak again.

 I am a Base-defender.What's mine is mine, and I make sure everyone knows it. Nobody invades my space without permission - I'd destroy everything I own before letting someone take it from me. I tend to be forward-facing, which is both a strength and a weakness. What Video Game Character Are You? |
