I've got two small hairless spots on the very top of my head, as well as about 5 in a circular pattern on the back right side. It is likely the hair will never grow back. This isn't a result of balding, but cystic acne, which put pressure on my hair folicles and caused them to stop producing.
What does this mean? Well, I have two options. I can shave my head entirely bald, or let it grow back out again.
I almost would prefer the bald look, but then again, if the cystic acne doesn't go away, I'd be better off letting it grow out again.
Until then, it's back to the bandana, for entirely different reasons than I used to have.
