sathorLets begin with Jared Leto, who apparently has the skill to be the lead singer of a band and an actor -
But hey, wait - this is the norm nowadays, isn't it?
Apparently everyone can play an instrument, act, write self-biographies and keep the masses enthralled. Apparently our standards as a society have sunk so low, we're willing to buy all of the fucking filth these individuals flood the market with, and turn them into millionaires overnight.
#1 They are most certainly probably not as talented of musicians as say, BEETHOVEN, but I'll bet you a million dollars they are richer than he was.
#2 They are probably talented in ONE of these areas, OR maybe were just born with enough capital and connections to get the jump start. This is becoming some kind of fucked up standard method of achieving fame and presence in the global marketplace and media.
#3 I'm seriously wondering if it takes all that much talent to begin with to do any of the above (write a book, act, play an instrument, write music, get famous, etc.) This is the HUGE part.
Honestly - how much talent can it take? Have we really deluded ourselves into believing these people are this talented - masters of their trade in all of these various fields? I would just -love- to see someone tell me, "Yes, yes they are talented in all of these areas!" so I could take a 30-06 and put the bullet square into their forehead. I -know- talented -US touring- musicians personally, and they aren't busy talking to agents 24/7, acting, writing books with enough time left to get face with every major media outlet. THEY ARE BUSY PLAYING THEIR MUSIC, LIKE DUH.
This isn't really about Jared Leto mind you - every day I login to myspace, there's some other fucking retard on the front page getting a plug for his or her new book/movie/music (all at once!)
It's just -amazing- that society has really become so afflicted with down syndrome that it accepts these retarded rich kids as idols and furthermore pays them extravagantly.
If this means I have to start doing voice blogs with background music to get people thinking about how retarded these people are (the ones they dish money out to buy shit from) then so be it. In fact, I enjoyed the last one I did, but I didn't post it. So this will be #1, once I get around to it. Youtube will get me more hits than anything else, especially if I start a ruckus by bashing every fucking celebrity on the planet, as people should've been doing all along.
