I've been noticing a very strange pattern lately with regards to my acne.

If I shower after I get home from work, it is worse upon waking up.

If I leave the dusting i receive from cleaning up the Sawmill, it seems like......it actually improves over night.

I don't know how this is possible. Maybe it is because the dust ends up drying my face out. It never used to work this way, at least not on dry line. But there seems to be something about all of the green lumber sawdust. It's almost magical.

Or maybe it's just because I don't smoke nearly as much while at work?

Either way, I've been abusing this $17/small tube scar therapy stuff, and it's doing wonders. My face literally itches for hours after I put it on (which, mom always told me - ha ha ha - meant it was healing!) There are noticeable differences regardless, and I think given a couple more months of it's use, I may conquer it completely.

Been dealing with it off and on for too many years. But my scars aren't nearly as bad as some people I know...it honestly seems like most of them are surface scars or even just irritation from facial hair.

In other news, I'm getting on Company Time. That means health and dental insurance. Finally.

I can get fully checked out for far far less than I could before. And my teeth really do need to be checked again...it's been nearly two years now.

However, the raise isn't nearly what it should be. If I don't get another one to match what I was promised when I was hired a year ago, Rich will be getting my two weeks. Don't know when I'll bring it up...maybe a month or so from now, maybe a little more. Or maybe I'll wait until just before winter, because honestly, not sure I want to work there in negative degree weather again ;)
