I'm already sick and tired of hearing about Donald Trump and his poorly thought out decisions/appointments/statements.

The idea of having to deal with four more years of this, plus whatever serious repercussions his actions and his idiotic party are going to have is depressing on a whole different level. I guess the legislature is set to roll back all the new truck-driver protections (as they actually were required by law to get enough sleep/time off) and if congress is already doing something like that, I expect way worse.

Like maybe just eliminating overtime all together, and maybe even eliminating 16 hour maximum workday protection. Why not, right?

I'll tell you what has infuriated me the most over the past few days, though - an article in the paper from a now retired high school teacher of mine, who is apparently a Trump apologist and yet another Obama-hater. Here's someone who has a nice government pension (that will soon likely cease to exist for everyone teaching now), didn't have to pay more than a couple thousand a year for his college education, and now also collects social security and has free insurance. It must be nice to have gotten all those things, and then say, "well, you don't need them and I worked hard for my benefits - all you millenials are just lazy. We should get rid of the minimum wage while we're at it."

We need a program of psychosurgery and political control of our society. The purpose is physical control of the mind. Everyone who deviates from the given norm can be surgically mutilated. The individual may think that the most important reality is his own existence, but this is only his personal point of view. This lacks historical perspective. Man does not have the right to develop his own mind. This kind of liberal orientation has great appeal. We must electrically control the brain. Some day armies and generals will be controlled by electrical stimulation of the brain.
